Xbox 360 Mod chip Help?
Hello i just want to know what mod chip i should buy to play bootleg games on my Xbox 360. I don’t want to get banned from Xbox Live and i would prefer if all i had to do was plug it in somewhere and unless i only have to do it once i don’t want to open my Xbox. So just an easily installed mod chip to play bootleg games. Thanks in advance.
I know it voids the warranty ill play offline just tell me what a good one is
lol modchips are out of date for 360 it won’t work it will get u banned from live within about 2 seconds (its also a bit more complex than just plugging it in)
What people do now is flash their xbox with new firmware. This means they can keep re doing it and upgrading with newer fake firmware patches that keep them from being detected by M$ and banned.
However there is always still a chance you will get banned, especially with some bad “bootleg” games
Doing this is complex and requires you to have the right stuff e.g. u need the right computer or to buy a new part for your pc in order to do it.
There is NO easy way, you can’t just buy a chip and plug it in. Any chip you buy will get you banned and you’ll still probably need to do some soldering.
If you still want to hack your xbox look at “flashing an xbox 360″ and i would strongly recommend you just pay someone else to do it. It should cost you about £40 and then its done. Otherwise you’ll need to get all the bits of ebay and learn how to do it, very complex and you could mess it up.
There is still a chance to get banned whatever this is just the way to minimize it.
And yes it will still void your warranty as you need to open the xbox up to connect it to your pc to flash it.
The point of doing this is so you can back up games you ALREADY OWN and HAVE PAID FOR just in case you lose your original copy
